Dory Sontheimer in the victim’s tribute at Girona

Dory Sontheimer was commissioned to conduct the ceremony of the International Day of Memory of the Holocaust and Prevention of Crimes against Humanity on 28 January. During her speech, she told the story of their ancestors, executed by the Nazis, which she discovered inside the boxes she found in a closet  when she was 52, match point of the Documentary The seven boxes.

As an article of the newspaper Diari de Girona explains, several representatives of different groups light up candles to remember all victims of barbarism during the event. A meeting not to forget the impunity of past crimes because we are all victims of our history.
